Properties:
- White or slightly yellow crystals
- Easily soluble in water
Specifications:
- Concentration Al2O3: ≥ 17%
- Insoluble substance content: ≤ 0.5%
- pH : 3
- Concentration Fe2O3 ≤ 50 pp
- Particle size : 2-15 mm
2. Use
Aluminum is a traditional coagulant, commonly used for the treatment of clean water and waste water.
The main types of waste water using Aluminum include
- Wastewater in paper production process
- Centralized industrial wastewater treatment station
- Wastewater of electronic components manufacturing industries
- Plating sewage, electrostatic paint
- Wastewater of textile dyeing
- Wastewater from mining, mineral processing industries ...
Used to treat groundwater and surface water for eating and drinking purposes, water used for production, cooling water, producing RO and DI water.
Disadvantages of Aluminum alum:
- Decrease pH significantly
- Easy to make water become cloudy again if using excess dose.
- Need to use additional chemicals to support settling
- Generate aluminum and root SO42- after treatment, toxic to biological treatment behind or affect the water quality after treatment.
Preservation:
- Preservation and use of equipment such as stainless steel, plastic, composite
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- After opening, use immediately
