Recipe: Ca(OH)2

Properties:

  • Powder, White
  • Much soluble in water

Specifications:

  • Concentration: ≥ 10%
  • Fe2O3 : ≤ 0.01 %
  • MgCO3  ≤ 0.15%
  • pH : 12-13

2. Use

Use as a neutralizing chemical pH to replace caustic soda or some other alkaline substances. Used to treat phosphas. Especially for wastewater in electrostatic paint industry.

Use note:

Using Ca(OH)2 often causes more sludge than usual and more sediment than caustic soda should be considered.

 

Preservation:

  • Preservation and use of equipment such as stainless steel, plastic, composite
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
  • After opening, use immediately
